Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Mumbai, India
As a key member of the Yahoo! India Finance team, you will be responsible for our Operations Finance functions. You will provide critical support to the Finance Director in assessing business performance with timely & thorough reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
As our ideal candidate, your work history demonstrates job stability with increasing levels of responsibility. You are systems savvy, with a strong background in analysis tools such as Excel and Access. You have a degree in accounting or finance (C.A or M.B.A preferred) and 4-5 years of related financial experience along with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with OLAP tools such as the Hyperion/essbase suite is preferred. Your attention to detail, ability to work with the fast pace and ever-changing/ expanding responsibilities characteristic of high growth companies, along with very strong communication and relationship building skills will make you a success in this exciting role. - Weekly revenue and monthly P&L reporting and analysis for both corporate and the local management team
- Forecast preparation, tracking and analysis
- Annual plan preparation
- Capital reporting & analysis;
- Monthly and quarterly business review preparation
- Financial modeling, including new business development support
- Sales Analysis including yield management/property return/ROI initiatives
