What are the different sections on the Yahoo! FareChase India search results page?

Sponsor Deals

Sponsor Deals are offers from sites with which Yahoo! FareChase India has paid partnership agreements. These deals are relevant to the specific travel search you performed. The types of deals differ depending on the type of search performed and availability of the deals at the time of the search.

Sponsor Results

Sponsor Results are results from sites that pay for placement in search results based on search terms that are relevant to their business. These listings are provided by Yahoo! Search Marketing and other paid partnership agreements and appear on the Yahoo! FareChase India results pages and other sections of Yahoo! You'll see "Sponsor Results" when they are relevant to the specific search terms you used. For example, if you search for a flight from San Francisco to Boston, you'll see Sponsor Results for web sites that provide information about flights to Boston. The Yahoo! Search results pages separate Sponsor Results from other results so you can tell them apart.

Standard Results

Standard Results are the fares and rates Yahoo! FareChase India found in response to your search terms. Standard Results are generated from sites searched by Yahoo! FareChase India.

Refine Results

The checkboxes under "Refine Results" are used for filtering the results displayed on your screen. Initially, all checkboxes are selected and all results are displayed on the right side. By unchecking a checkbox, you remove all results that meet that criterion. For example, if you would like to remove all 1-stop flights from your consideration, you can uncheck "1-stop" and the results on the right side update automatically.

Sites Searched

The sites listed under "Sites Searched" are the provider sites that Yahoo! FareChase India searched for your particular search. It is possible that the list will change when you submit a different search. See "What travel sites are included in Yahoo! FareChase India?"

Yahoo! FareChase India has developed a method to search only the sites of our participating providers that are likely to produce the most relevant results (for example, we won't search a site that does not fly between the destination and arrival cities you requested). Our goal is to provide you results that are as relevant to your search as possible. Yahoo! FareChase India continues to build and enhance the product.
